Students in fourth grade read Ray Bradbury's short science fiction story "All Summer In A Day" as part of their English Language Arts curriculum. This is a haunting story about life on the Planet Venus. To dispell some of the gloom, the students write poetry about the things they enjoy most about summer here on Earth. Mrs. Epperson, somehow finds the time each year to come over to CES and film the students reciting their poems in front of a green screen. Then she uses images chosen by the children as a background and creates this keepsake for them to share. Click here to view the student's sharing their summer plans and memories.
